LiveAirshowTV Partners With Luke AFB And Airshow Management Group To Broadcast Luke Days 2018

February 20, 2018 – Red Oak, TX – In an innovative new partnership structure LiveAirShowTV has contracted with both Luke AFB and Airshow Management Group to create the transmedia broadcast of Luke Days 2018.  Headlined by the US Navy Blue Angels, Luke Days 2018: The Future of Airpower takes place March 17-18, commemorating Luke’s 77th year of operations since its 1941 founding.  This will be the first time in 26 years the Blue Angels have flown at Luke.  It will also be their first 2018 tour stop after their performance the week before at El Centro, the site of winter training.  As always, LiveAirShowTV will bring the excitement to viewers around the U.S. and the World with ICAS award-winning coverage including numerous  ground and onboard cameras, innovative and informative graphics, video features, social media promotions, performer intros and more.

Luke Days 2018 will also feature the F-35 Lightning II along with the A-10 Warthog, both of which will be participating in a USAF Heritage Flight.  The US Air Force Academy Wings of Blue parachute team is scheduled to be bringing in the flag for the opening ceremony to start the show daily.  A high-impact Joint Airfield Assault Demonstration will highlight the awesome capabilities of aircraft stationed at Luke, and civilian warbird team Tora Tora Tora will perform their ‘Zeros and Bombers’ flight demo with thrilling pyrotechnics to simulate ordinance.  Luke Days is also scheduled to have other civilian aerobatic warbird performers including the Red Tail Project P-51, Gary Rower in a WWII-era Stearman, John Klatt’s Screamin’ Sasquatch Jet Waco, and Greg Colyer in the T-33 Ace Maker.  Other civilian performers include Red Bull Air Race pilot Kirby Chambliss, award-winning Bill Stein, Buck Roetman, Brad Wursten, and Bob Freeman, all flying a variety of aerobatic aircraft.  Joining the line-up for a non-powered flight demonstration is glider pilot Dan Buchanan.  Static displays will include military aircraft from F-16 to C-130.
