LiveAirShowTV not only covers air shows, but other note-worthy aviation related events. In 2009,
we carried the 11th annual National Aviation Heritage Invitational LIVE during the first-ever
broadcast of the Reno Air Races. These beautifully restored airplanes were judged by experts on
criteria set up by the Smithsonian Institution. The trophy presentation was carried live and
is also available on archive.
Another history making broadcast took place in 2009 as LiveAirShowTV broadcast the
48th annual National Aviation Hall of Fame Enshrinement Ceremony. Internet viewers not
only watched the Saturday night celebration and ceremony, but while those in the hall were
eating dinner, the viewers got to watch the Friday Night "Hangar Stories" 12 Apollo Astronauts.
The Apollo Astronauts, as a class, received the Milton Caniff "Spirit of Aviation" award.
In attendance were Tom Stafford, Jim Lovell, Neil Armstrong, Buzz Aldrin, and Gene Cernan
among others. Many said that they heard stories that night they had never heard before.
We broadcast the 49th Annual Enshrinement Ceremony in 2010.
Events like these, as well as museum and charity events are being planned. Check the Schedule page as events are added.
